Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms are an agreement between you and [operator details missing], [operator details missing], registration number [operator details missing] ("GenTask", "we"). By creating an account or using GenTask you accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be 16 years or older to use GenTask. You confirm this when you accept these Terms.

3. Your account

Keep your sign-in details safe and give us an email address you can use. One account is for one person. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

4. The service

GenTask turns your instructions into programs, reminders and learning plans with the help of AI. We may change features and the free monthly limits, and we do not guarantee that the service is always available.

5. AI output and reminders

AI-generated content can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable for you. It is not medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Reminders and notifications can be delayed or fail, for example because of device settings or connectivity. Do not rely on GenTask for anything where a missed or late reminder could cause harm, such as taking medication.

6. Your content

You keep your rights to the content you create. You give us a licence limited to operating the service: storing and processing it, sending it to our AI provider to generate results, and showing it to people you share it with. You are responsible for what you create and share.

7. Sharing

Anyone who has a share link can view that program. You can stop sharing at any time. People who view a shared program can save their own copy.

8. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may remove content, disable share links, or suspend accounts that break it.

9. Purchases

No paid plans are sold yet. When they are, purchases in the apps are governed by the App Store or Google Play terms and are cancelled in that store. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through a store.

10. Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time, as described at gentask.ai/delete-account. We may suspend or close an account for serious or repeated breaches of these Terms, with notice where reasonable.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent the law allows, GenTask is provided "as is" and our liability is limited. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law, or liability for intent or gross negligence.

12. Changes to these Terms

If we change these Terms in a material way, we will email you in advance and ask you to accept the new version in the app. If you do not accept, you can delete your account.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.

14. Language

These Terms are available in English and Slovak. If the versions differ, the English version prevails.
